NATCHEZ — Cheryl L. Bonds, 69, of Natchez, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Natchez Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center with her family by her side.        
A family gathering will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Mrs. Bonds was born Nov. 29, 1949, the daughter of Jack Lofton and Jeanette Chapman Clement.
She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, friend and nurse.
Bonds was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carl Clement.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Alton Bonds; two sons, Eric D. Adams and wife, Mellissa, of Natchez, and Jamie Adams and wife, Tonya, of Smithdale; two brothers, Ronnie Lofton and wife, Christi, of Winnsboro, La., and Mike Clement; two sisters, Terri Adams of Natchez and Debbie Wilkinson and husband, Jimmy, of Ridgecrest; four grandchildren, Ian Adams, Sarah Johnson, Chandler Adams and Cortney Williamson; and seven great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to her dear friends and fellow nurses she served with through the years, who were very, very dear to her heart. Life has to end. Loves does not. You will forever be in our hearts.
The family requests memorials be made in her name to The American Diabetes Foundation, diabetes.org.
