NATCHEZ — Services for Betty Jo Freeman Goldman, 75, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Hemby officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Goldman was born April 16, 1943, in Natchez, the daughter of Joe and Vivian Freeman.

She was a retired beautician and teacher’s assistant. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Nana, and Aunt Bet. She enjoyed many camping adventures with Jerry, watching her grandchildren play sports, reading and spending time with her dog, Rocky. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Goldman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Jerry Goldman; one sister, Lessie Youngquist and husband, Carl; father-in-law, M.A. Goldman; mother-in-law, Louise Goldman; and one nephew, Keith Goldman.

Survivors include two daughters, Vivian Richardson of Natchez and Lesley Leatherwood of Pensacola, Fla.; one son, Josh Goldman and wife, Mandie, of Natchez; seven grandchildren, Brittany Price, Holly Richardson, Brianna Leatherwood, Braden Goldman, Wyatt Leatherwood, Haley Palmer and Joss Goldman; mother-in-law, Doris “Mama Dot” Goldman of Ridgeland; three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Goldman and wife, Carolyn, Danny Goldman and wife, Pam, and Glen Goldman; sister-in-law, Mary Faye Nethercutt; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Nethercutt, James Goldman, Bert Goldman, Ed Murray, Chris Nethercutt, Braden Goldman, Wyatt Leatherwood, Cody Watson and Josh Brewer.
