Mr. and Mrs. Forrest and Estella Williams announce the engagement of their daughter, ShaKeria Williams to Adrian Owens, son of Rebecca Owens and Marcus Plains, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Glenda Dawson High School in Pearland, Texas, and is attending Texas Southern University in Houston.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pink and Evelyn Smith, the late Mary Lee Williams, all of Natchez, and the late Charles Stewart of Port Gibson.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg.

He is employed by Homeland Security in Gulfport.

He is the grandson of Geraldine Jefferson of Ferriday and the late Arthur White and Vera White of Natchez.

The wedding will be 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Sibley.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Natchez Convention Center.
