NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Mildred Cox, 97, of Metairie, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, in Metairie, will be 11 a.m. Friday, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Raj Behara officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cox was born Aug. 4, 1921, in Oak Grove, La., the daughter of John Calvin Moss and Florence Halford Moss.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Alfred Cox; two brothers, Edgar Moss and Earl Moss; and two sisters, Earlene Fleming and Edna Moss.
Survivors include one son, Charles Calvin Cox and wife, Lynet; four grandsons, Charles Brian Cox and wife, Shannon, David Michael Cox and wife, Erin, Steven Christopher Cox and James Scott Cox and wife, Courtney; four great-grandchildren, Hayley Cox, Hannah Cox, Kendall Cox and Charles Henry Cox; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brian Cox, David Cox, Steven Cox and nephews, Michael Moss, Buddy Moss and Johnny Moss.
