Three injured after car flips into creek bed on Liberty Road

NATCHEZ — Officials from the Adams County Sheriff’s office, Natchez Fire Department and other agencies worked the scene of a one-vehicle wreck on Liberty Road near Cedar Creek Saturday afternoon. Upon their arrival, Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies found a 2005 GMC Envoy had left the road way and came to a final resting place beside the creek. The vehicle was being driven by Jason Baker, Sheriff Travis Patten said. Two other occupants, Scotty Dickens and Jacqueline Hall, were also in the vehicle. One person sustained minor injuries and the other two were transported to Merit Health Natchez with non-life threatening injuries.
