NATCHEZ — Services for Arneita White Havard, 81, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Smithland Baptist Church with the Rev. Earnest Ford Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.        
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Havard was born March 28, 1937, in Natchez, the daughter of James Rowan and Rhuberta Baco.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roosevelt Havard; two sisters, Joann Rowan and Janie Rowan; and three brothers.
Survivors include one godson, Vaughn A. Jones of Natchez; three goddaughters, Alberta Smith, Cammy Brady and Mary Thomas James, all of Newellton, La.; one special cousin, Willie Ransome of Monroe, La.; one uncle, Frank Jenkins of Riverside, Calif.; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
