PORT GIBSON — Services for Inez Cullins-Chatman, 75, of Port Gibson, who died Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Port Gibson with the Rev. Kevin Winters officiating.
Burial will follow at Providence Christian Church Cemetery, in the Walker family plot, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home, 208 Walnut St., in Port Gibson.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chatman was a member of First Baptist Church. She taught in the public- school system and retired after more than 30 years of service. She also was a pianist for various local churches and the owner of Chatman’s Florist of Port Gibson.
Chatman was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Walker Jones and three sisters, Linda Jones James, Hazel Jones Claiborne and Sandra Jones Porter.
Survivors include two sons, Daryl Cullins and Murriel Dwayne Cullins, of Manassas, Va.; her father, Abraham Jones of Port Gibson; two grandsons, Derrick Bond of Chicago and Darrius Watson of Vicksburg; three great-grandchildren, Derrick Bond III, Derrian Bond and Denim Bond; two sisters, Patricia Jones Claiborne and husband, Lee, of Chicago, and Dianne Jones Hubbard of Pattison; one brother, Jerry Warfield and wife, Carol, of Ridgeland; and a number of special nieces, nephews, cousins, loving friends and extended family.
