NATCHEZ — Services for Gloria Lewis, 89, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 5:30 p.m.
Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Brannan was born on Oct. 16, 1929, in New Orleans, the daughter of Mack Lewis and Rosie Trask.  She was raised by her mother and Albert Joseph St. Cyr Sr.  She was a high school graduate and a retired cook and housekeeper.
Brannan was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and spending time with her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grover Anthony Brannan; one daughter, Annie Brannan Stewart; one brother, Albert Joseph St. Cyr Jr.; one granddaughter, Shakeyra “Pooda” Brannan; and one grandson, Kewayne C. Brannan.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Brannan, Oliver Brannan and Willie “Bobo” Shields; two sisters, Catherine St. Cyr Brooks and Martha Lynn Mitchel; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
