Teresa W. Marler

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. — A celebration of life service for Teresa W. Marler, 60, of Gallatin, Tenn., who died Thursday, December 20, 2018, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hendersonville First Baptist Church with Hendersonville Funeral Home assisting.

Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church.

Teresa was born Oct. 13, 1958, in Batesville, the daughter of Edwayne and Shirley Faye Ware.

She was an art teacher in Mississippi for 22 years until she and her family moved to Hendersonville 15 years ago.  She was the librarian at Ellis Middle School for 15 years and a member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville. She served as the church’s library director for a short period of time. 

She was a loving mother and wife who was passionate about art, literature, education, and nature.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Max Marler; son, Steven Marler; daughters, Julianne and Caroline Marler; brother, Don Ware; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
