NATCHEZ — A private graveside service for Lenelle Ritchie Arnold, 92, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019. in Monroe, Ga., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arnold was born Sept. 17, 1926, in Ruth, the daughter of Ben and Maggie Ritchie.
She was a graduate of Crowville High School in Crowville, La. She was a former longtime resident of Natchez and served as justice court judge in District 5 in Adams County. She also worked at McRae’s and Belk in Natchez and was a beloved mother, grandmother and a friend to many.
Arnold was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Othell Arnold; one sister, Rubye Huff; one brother, Bennon Ritchie; and one granddaughter, Catheron Colleen Arnold.
Survivors include two children, Beverly Cole and husband, Lloyd, and Don Arnold and wife, Page; four grandchildren, Emily Heck and her husband, Brian, Todd Cole and wife, Candice, Ian Arnold and Amy Evans and husband, Eric; eight great- grandchildren, Olivia and Lindsey Heck, Graham and Miles Cole, Avery, Aubrey and Alyssa Arnold and Baylen Woods; two step-grandchildren, Chloe and Kaitlyn Evans; one sister-in-law, Gaynelle Ritchie; and three nieces and one nephew.
