NATCHEZ — Services for Shirley Mildred Dawson, 84, of Meadville, who died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2018, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Cullum officiating.    
Burial will follow at Dawson Family Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dawson was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Dawson; one daughter, Frances Derungs; and her parents, Walter and Sally Spurlock.
Survivors include five children, Robert Shinn and wife, Deborah, Barbara Grauberger and husband, Paul, Judy Ezell, Susan Dawson and husband, Wayne, and Will Penney and wife, Jannice; and dear friend, Leona Lavigne.
