NATCHEZ — Services for Virginia Lois Nettles, 83, of Sibley, who died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at her residence, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Baskin Cemetery in Baskin, La., under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nettles was born Feb. 3, 1935, in St. Joseph, La., the daughter of Ervin Williams and Virginia Lucy Edmondson Williams. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Nettles; six daughters, Mary Jackson, Donnie Shows and Joy Lynn Kitchen, all of Natchez, Shelia Dale VanWinkle and Winnie Ruth Young of Sibley and Octavia Hedgepath of Independence, La.; 18 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
