NATCHEZ — Services for Walter James Hayes, 51, of Spring, Texas, who died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, at Herman Memorial Northeast Hospital in Houston, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Birdon Mitchell Jr. officiating.     
Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hayes as born Feb. 9, 1967, the son of Walter “Buddy” Hayes and Mildred Hayes.
He was preceded in death by his father.
