Michael and Belinda Freeman of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Michelle Freeman to Jeremy “Jukie” Denette, son of Jessica Denette and the late Ronnie Denette of Basile, La.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and Hinds Community College in Jackson. She is employed by Lafayette General Hospital.

She is the granddaughter of Jerry and Dianne Wallace of Gulfport, the late Bobby Juneau of Vidalia, the late Mervin Freeman and the late Frances Freeman of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Basile High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe, La.

He is employed by Lafayette Physical Rehabilitation Hospital in Lafayette.

He is the grandson of the late Sidney Granger and the late Hazel Granger of Basile and the late Albert Denette and the late Virginia Denette of Chicopa, Mass.

The wedding will be 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at White Oak Plantation in Baton Rouge.
