Man charged after drugs found

NATCHEZ — A Natchez man faces drug charges after the Adams County Special Response Team conducted a search of his residence, officials said.

During the Friday morning search of Christopher “Yogi” McGehee’s residence at 186 Ogden Road, deputies said they recovered approximately 14 grams of methamphetamine, Fentanyl patches, approximately 13 grams of marijuana, two rifles and a loaded syringe.

Deputies said they arrested McGehee at the scene and charged him with possession of schedule II methamphetamine with intent, possession of schedule II Fentanyl, possession of marijuana (less than 30 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia, officials said.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said McGehee was being held in the Adams County Jail on bonds totaling $1,000.
