HOUMA, La. — A mass of Christian burial for Ann Aldrege Eschete, 81, a longtime resident of Houma, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, will be 11 a.m. today at St. Louis Catholic Church in Houma, La.      
A visitation in her honor will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Burial will be Thursday at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park LLC.
Mrs. Eschete was preceded in death by her husband, Julian “Flap” Eschete and her parents, Herman and Elspie Aldrege.
Survivors include three sons, Barry Eschete, Herman Eschete and wife, Wendy, and Guido Eschete and wife, Adrianna; one daughter, Jeanné-Morgan and Elizabeth Gernon; and three great-grandchildren, Julian and Ava Eschete and Gabriel Ledet.
