NATCHEZ — Services for Eugene Washington, 90, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at Riverland Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel.   
Burial will follow at St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mr. Washington was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Knoxville, the son of Robert and Louvilla S. Washington.
He was a retiree of Illinois Central Railroad Company.
Washington was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosie L. Washington; two sisters, Sarah Davis and Joanna Washington; and three brothers, George Washington, Marshall Washington and Frankie “Bubba” Washington.
Survivors include four sons, Gene Washington Jr. and wife, Shirley, Joe Henry Sweazer, Jerry Washington and wife, Mary, and Troy Frye; four daughters, Juanita W. Jackson, Rosie Wells and husband, Freeman, Deloris Sullivan and husband, Roosevelt, and Joyce M. Pinder and husband, Douglas; 16 grandchildren; one brother-in-law, James McNeil; and a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
