NATCHEZ— Services for Elmer Leon Johnson Sr., 77, of Vidalia, who died on Friday. Jan. 25, 2019 at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5  to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. Monday until service time, both at the funeral home.

Leon was born on July 25, 1941 in Natchez, the son of Nathan and Viola Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Deloris Marie Johnson.

Survivors include his two sons, Elmer Johnson Jr. and Elton Lee Johnson and his wife, Jackie, all of Vidalia; three granddaughters, Sabrina Johnson Stuckey, Jenna Johnson Seyfarth and Toni Johnson Knapp; seven great grandchildren, Brent Clark, Ashlyn Stuckey, Brayden Knapp, Rowen Knapp, John Tyler Stuckey, Sarah Grace Knapp, and Avery Seyfarth.

Pallbearers will be Brent Clark, Shawn Knapp, Billy Wayne Fitt, Glen Seyfarth, Spanky Felter, and Ellis Felter.
