Natchez Garden Club announces 2019 Spring Pilgrimage tableaux court

NATCHEZ — The Natchez Garden Club has announced its 2019 royal court for the Historic Natchez Tableaux. The court will serve the Natchez Garden Club’s king and queen during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage.

Ayden Wayne Shaifer
Ayden Wayne Shaifer is the son of Stuart and Nikki Shaifer. He is the grandson of Charlotte Britt, Linette Fisher and David Shaifer all of Natchez.
Ayden enjoys riding his bike, playing XBox with his siblings and building things with his Legos.
Jason Connor McNeel Jr.
Jason Connor McNeel Jr. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason McNeel. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Biglane of Vidalia and Mr. and Mrs. Niles McNeel of Starkville.
Connor attends First Presbyterian Day School in Jackson. He enjoys playing sports, including baseball, golf, soccer and swim team. He participates in Sunday School and the Children’s Choir at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Connor loves fishing, hunting, reading, cheering on the Mississippi State University Bulldogs and training his dog Brit.
His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole.
Evie Chase Jones
Evie Chase Jones is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brant Jones. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Fred Callon and the late Mr. Fred Callon of Natchez and Mrs. Margie McElwee of Monroe, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jones of Tallulah, La.
Evie Chase attends Cathedral School. She enjoys ballet, soccer and is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Evie Chase also enjoys swimming, playing dress up and playing with American Girl dolls.
Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole.
Skylar Raine Huff
Skylar Raine Huff is the daughter of Keith and Angela Huff. She is the granddaughter of Wilbert and Diane Trisler of Jonesville. Earlene Huff and the late Albert Huff of Harrisonburg, La.
Skylar is in kindergarten at Cathedral Elementary School.
Skylar is a member of First Baptist Church Natchez, where she attends Sunday School, Children’s Choir and Mission Friends.
Skylar enjoys T-ball, is a student at Natchez Ballet Academy and danced in The Nutcracker. She loves playing dress up, Barbies and everything unicorn.
Her past pageant participation includes Little Maypole and Picnic.
Abby Claire Loy
Abby Claire Loy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua A. Loy. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Savant and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Loy.
Abby attends Cathedral School. She also attends First Baptist Church in Natchez and is a member of the Natchez Garden Club Junior Gardeners.
Abby enjoys playing with her sisters, playing basketball and softball and cheering on the LSU Tigers football team and gymnastics squad.
Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole.

Abigail Elizabeth Brown
Abigail Elizabeth Brown is the daughter of Walt and Lashon Brown. She is the granddaughter of Walter and Missy Brown, Joan Brown and Robert and Julie Biglane all of Natchez.
Abby is a 2018 Cathedral High School graduate and attends Mississippi State University majoring in biological sciences.
She is a member of the Pre Vet Club and is a Brickre Project mentor. She enjoys intramurals, playing Bingo at Moes, walking/hiking with her dog Cash and reading in her hammock.
Abby’s previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Jr. Bridesmaid in The Wedding, Polka and daughter in The Soldiers Coming Home.
Mary Frances Sessions
Mary Frances Sessions is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Sesssions. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James M. Sessions III, Mrs. Annie Ruth Millsaps, the late Mr. Gene Millsaps and Mr. and Mrs. Don Corley.
Mary Frances is a 2017 Cathedral High School graduate and attends Mississippi State University majoring in kinesiology and clinical excercise.
Mary Frances is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha , chairman in “Think Pink” national philanthropy, Zeta Tau Alpha Banner Committee, member of Oktibbeha County Student Humane Society Organization and member of Young Life organization.
Mary Frances enjoys spending time with her dog Jax, having fun with friends and participating in sport events through her sorority.
Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Showboat, Placard Bearer, Bride in The Wedding and Polka.
Emily Dawson Hootsell
Emily Dawson Hootsell is the daughter of Finley and Regina Hootsell. She is the granddaughter of the late Walton and Daisy Hootsell of Natchez, Lloyd Legendre, Sr. and the late Mary Jean Legendre of River Ridge, La.
Emily is a 2017 Cathedral High School graduate and attends Mississippi College majoring in biology with a minor in business administration.
Emily was on the dean’s list, is a student member of the American Chemical Society, volunteer at Mission Byram in Byram, MC Archery Team, volunteer at Leukemia and Lymphoma Society MS/LA Chapter.
Emily enjoys competitive archery, hunting, dancing, reading and traveling.
Her past pageant participation includes Polka and Virginia Reel.
Margaret McNeely Jordan
Margaret McNeely Jordan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. Jordan, Jr. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Peggy McNeely and the late Mr. Bobby McNeely, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy June and the late Mr. Charles Kenneth Jordan, Sr.
Margaret is a 2017 graduate of Adams County Christian School and attends Mississippi State University majoring in accounting.
Margaret in enrolled in the MSU Honors College, accepted into and competed in the MSU Day One Leadership Community Program, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society and presidents list.
Margaret enjoys deer hunting, raising chickens, cooking and working part time from college at Jordan Carriers, Inc. for Collections Department.
Her past pageant participation includes Showboat, Little Maypole, Page, Big Maypole, Picnic, Placard Bearer and Polka.
Jordan Katherine Waller
Jordan Katherine Waller is the daughter of Wayne and Angie Waller. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Cora Olier.
Jordan is a 2016 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and attends the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in marine biology with a minor in psychology.
Jordan is the recipient of the Luckyday Citizenship Scholarship, freshman mentor in the Luckday Scholarship program, member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and a Hattiesburg Zoo volunteer.
Jordan has a passion for the outdoors and working with wildlife. She enjoys teaching others about conservation efforts and expanding their knowledge on how they can help make a difference. She enjoys traveling to different places, trying new things and meeting new people.
Her previous pageant participation includes Polka, Big Maypole, Native Americans and Showboat.
Jessica LeAnn Payne
Jessica LeAnn Payne is the daughter of Keith Payne and Suzanne Campbell. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Leo Joseph Jr. of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. James Larry Payne of Hattiesburg.
Jessica is a 2016 graduate of Adams County Christian School and attends Mississippi College majoring in secondary English education with a minor in Spanish as well as an endorsement in Spanish and social studies.
Jessica is a member of the Alpha Mu Gamma Honor Society and on the dean’s List. She is a member of Chenoa Social Tribe, an officer in Chenoa for the past two years serving as Formal Events Chair in 2017-2018 and currently as Swaps and Socials Chair.
She enjoys working as a tutor in the Writing Center.

Donald Conerly Branton
Donald Conerly Branton is the son of Jenny Townsend and Don Branton. He is the grandson of Tamara King and the late Jerry King of Montecello, Wayne and Diane Branton of Ferriday and Buddy and Lynette Tanner of Frogmore.
Conner is a 2017 graduate of Cathedral High School and attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Natchez, majoring in computer science and business management.
Conner was a member of the Cathedral Baseball team for four years and recipient of the Sevier United Methodist Church Scholarship.
Conner enjoys hunting, baseball, technology, muscle cars and outdoors.
His previous pageant participation includes Groom in The Wedding and Polka.
John Tate Branton
John Tate Branton is son of John and Robin Branton and Anissa Branton. He is the grandson of Wayne and Diane Branton of Ferriday, George and Lynette Tanner of Frogmore and Tommy and Virgie Winborne of Natchez.
Tate is a 2018 graduate of Delta Charter School and attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College majoring in business.
Tate is a member of Jefferson Street Youth Group, Youth Counselor for Frogmore Plantation Summer Camp and recipient of the Sevier Methodist Church Scholarship in 2018.
Tate enjoys hunting and soccer.
Bill Loyed “Beau” Stahlman Jr.
Bill Loyed “Beau” Stahlman Jr. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stahlman Sr. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jacquelyn M. Stahlman of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bruce of Vidalia.
Beau is a 2018 graduate of Adams County Christian School and attends Copiah-Lincoln Comunity College majoring in computer science.
Beau is a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church where he is active with the youth and children activities.
Beau enjoys bowling, computer game designing, avid reader, mythology research, photography and videography.
His past pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Virginia Reel, Ringbear in The Wedding, Spanish Flag Bearer, Flag Runner, Drummer, Polka, backstage assistant for six years, groomsman in The Wedding and flag bearer for closing Star Spangled Banner.
John Wesley Chandler
John Wesley Chandler is the son of John and Kristie Byrne Chandler. He is the grandson of Ms. Loveta Byrne and Mr. Tony Byrne of Natchez and Ms. Peggy Chandler and the late Mr. Winston Chandler of Columbus.
Wesley attends Vestavia Hills High School and will graduate in 2020. He plans to major in Graphic
Design when he attends college.
Wesley is a Vestavia Hills High School Ambassador, Vestavia Hills Rebel Marching Band, Band vice-president, sousaphone section leader and concert band first Chair, Youth Leadership Vestavia Hills, Relay for Life committee member and team captain, member of Muse, a literary arts magazine and varsity dive team captain.
Wesley enjoys photography.
His past pageant participation includes Drummer in the Court.
Joshua Nathaniel Hargon Jr.
Joshua Nathaniel Hargon Jr. is the son of Lisa Joseph of Natchez and Josh and Diane Hargon of Vidalia. He is the grandson of Leo and Paula Joseph of Natchez and Mark and Rhonda Rose of Olive Branch.
Joshua is a 2018 graduate of Adams County Christian School and attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College majoring in engineering.
Joshua attends First Baptist Church in Natchez and Vidalia. He played soccer and baseball in high school.
Joshua enjoys hunting, fishing, soccer, golf and watching LSU football.
His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Page to his uncle Leo Joseph III who served as NGC King in 2006.
Landon Hunt Havard
Landon Hunt Havard is the son of David L. Havard and Alicia S. Havard. He is the grandson of Vicki Stowers and the late Jerry Stowers of Vidalia, Alice Havard and late Billy Ray Havard of Natchez, and the late Phyllis Duncan of Vidalia.
Landon is a 2017 graduate of Cathedral High School and currently attends Baton Rouge Community College in Baton Rouge., majoring in welding.
Landon played high school football and baseball for Cathedral, summer baseball and All-Stars and travel baseball.
Landon enjoys hunting, playing his guitar and four wheeler riding with his friends.
