NATCHEZ — Services for Jerry Lee Thomas, 61, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church No. 2, in Kingston, with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.    
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mr. Thomas was born Jan. 10, 1958, in Natchez, the son of Burl Skipper Sr. and Pauline Thomas Adams.
He was a graduate of North Natchez Adams High School. Jerry was a retired cook and a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church No. 2.    He enjoyed watching sports and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Laverne Thomas and Susie Mae Skipper; and one brother, Burl Skipper Jr.
Survivors include his mother; one brother, Roger Thomas; two sisters, Lillie Ruth Sheffield and husband, Charles, and Debra Smith and husband, Robert; his companion, Donna Jackson and her children, Cocynthia, William and Jason Roy; and other relatives and friends.
