FERRIDAY — Services for Peggy Ezell Cornwell, 63 of Ferriday, who died Friday, March 1 in Ferriday, will be 1 p.m. at Miss-Lou Pentecostal Church with Gary Howington, Jeremy Howington, and Marrell Cornwell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at Miss-Lou Pentecostal Church.
Peggy was born on Sunday, March 13, 1955 in Natchez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Helen Ezell, and brother Richard Ezell.
Survivors include her husband of 9 years Jack Cornwell Sr.; sister Deloise Blakely and her husband, Joe; sister-in-law Melissa Myers Ezell; step-son Jackie Cornwell Jr.; two step-daughters, Candy Cornwell and Shannon Green and her husband Freddy; niece Connie Lovell and her husband Greg; nephew Mickey King and his wife Shane; three great-nieces, Misty Thompson, Kendra Wells and her husband Stephen, and Makenzie King; two great-nephews, Dillon King and his wife Emma and Tanner King; uncle Robert Myers; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers are Dillon King, Jerry Myers, Cory Myers, Chris Groh, Leslie Vincent, and Stephen Wells.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tanner King and Dr. Huey Moak.
