CHURCH HILL— Services for Robert Oscar Adams Jr., 81, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Church Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the church.
Mr. Adams was born July 17, 1937, in Fayette, the son of Robert Oscar Adams Sr. and Velma Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roger Dale Adams; and two sisters, Maxine Buie and Jesse Waggoner.
Survivors include four sons, Glynn Adams and wife, Stephanie, Paul Brown and wife, Glenna, all of Natchez, Dale Adams of Lake Charles, La., and John Adams of Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Wendy Kilpatrick and husband, Mike, of Cleveland, Texas, Penny Adams and Amber Adams, both of Little Rock; two sisters, Diane Carrol and Joyce Herrington; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
