“Upon making entry into the residence,” Green said of Tuesday’s search warrant, “Smith was in the living room area and complied with commands. During a search of the residence, officers located approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine in the kitchen cabinet, less than 30 grams of marijuana in the kitchen, three sets of digital scales, a cell phone on the couch and $1,440 in U.S. currency on Smith’s person.”

Green said Smith is currently out on bond after he was arrested and charged in Adams County on Dec. 12 with possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of Xanax and possession of a stolen firearm.

Green said Smith bonded out on those charges Dec. 20.

Smith also is currently out on bond for felony drug charges in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and felony charges in Alexandria, Louisiana, Green said.
