NATCHEZ— Services for Cleta Faye Seale Brumfield, 92, of Centreville, formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 31, 2019, in Centreville, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morgantown Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen Wyles officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Brumfield was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Franklin County, the daughter of Cletus Aaron Seale and Mary Lillie McCall Seale.
She was a lifelong member of Morgantown Baptist Church. She was also Miss Natchez in 1946. She was a loving wife and mother.
Brumfield was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Henry H. Brumfield; one brother, Oliver Seale; one sister, Dorothy Sojourner; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Rachelle Brown.
Survivors include three children, Linda B. Cox and Faye B. Williams and husband, Gene, all of Natchez;Henry H. “Hank” Brumfield and wife, Sherry, of St. Francisville, La.; one sister, Jean Simonton of Natchez; one sister-in-law,  Louise J. Brumfield of Auburn; six grandchildren, Michael Brown and wife, Andrea, of Mobile, Ala., Katheryn Brown of Manhattan, N.Y., Douglas Brumfield of Morganza, La., Cody Brumfield and wife, Brittany, of Zachary, La., Jake Williams and wife, Sara, and Sarah Williams, all of Natchez; four great-grandchildren, Tenley Wilson, Corbin Staggs, Harrison Williams and Emma Williams; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Douglas Brumfield, Jacob Williams, Cody Brumfield, Gene Williams and Jack Sojourner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morgantown Baptist Church.
