The Natchez-Adams County School District announced Saturday afternoon that the Natchez High School and Natchez Early College Prom scheduled for tonight at Co-Lin has been postponed until 6 to 11 p.m. Sunday due to weather.

“Based on Information from Adams County Emergency Management,” the statement says, “Adams County is currently in an elevated, severe weather risk level for this evening.

“Out of an abundance of precaution and concern for the safety of our students, The Natchez Adams School District has rescheduled The Natchez High School & Natchez Early College @ Co-Lin Prom for Sunday, April 14, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. – 11 p.m.

“We apologize for any inconvenience, but our greatest concern is for the safety of all of our students. Everyone please be safe as we prepare for this forecasted severe weather event.”
