NATCHEZ — Kathryn Freeman signed a scholarship to Mississippi College for archery Thursday morning at Adams County Christian School.
With her Thursday were her parents, Curt and Elizabeth Freeman, Cricket Dougherty ACCS teacher and Waldo Cleland the Mississippi College archery coach.
Freeman said her father got her involved with the bow and arrow.
“Shooting pistols in competition was my thing, but when I started with archery I found out I was good at it,” Freeman said.
