NATCHEZ— Services for Millicent Louise Rose, 83, of Natchez, formerly of Bronx, N.Y., who died on Saturday, April 27, 2019, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.   
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rose was born on July 24, 1935, in Kingston, Jamaica WI, the daughter of Sydney Adolphus Scott and Maudlyn Lillith Creed.
She was a retired registered nurse with Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.
Rose was a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the mothers’ board. She was a former member of the Church of the Abiding Presence in the Bronx and served on the usher board.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Vincent Rose; one son, Barrington Vincent Rose; her parents; two brothers, Norris Scott and Sidney N. Scott Jr.; and two sisters, Patricia P. Scott Todd and Barbara M. “Pinks” Scott.
Survivors include two sons,  Robert A. Morgan and wife, Luberda, and Dwight H. Rose and wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Marcia Rose and Babbette Faison and husband, Quentin; three brothers,  Lytton “Son” Scott, Norman F. Scott and wife, Janet, and Norman N. Scott; two sisters, Janet Haskins and husband, Charles, and Reka “Luther” Sinclair and husband, Bunny; eight grandchildren, Natasha Morgan, Roberta Morgan, Akeem Kibbler, Jordan Rose, Taylor Faison, Trestan Rose, Star Rose and Paris Faison; four great-grandchildren, Deiah Quimby, Alexus Kellerman, Serenity Carter and Akeem Kibbler Jr.; and other relatives and friends.
