NATCHEZ — Services for Pero Edward “Buster” Davis, 62, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 22, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, were 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Reed officiating.

Burial followed at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Davis was born Dec. 12, 1956, in Natchez, the son of Pero Johnson Sr. and Annie Lee Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father; three brothers, Pero Johnson Jr., Percy Johnson Sr. and Jimmie Johnson Sr.; and two sisters, Laura Logan-Jones and Mable Anderson.

Survivors include two daughters, Rodnese Cameron and Rannese McDaniel and husband, William; one son, Pero Edward Johnson and wife, Michelle; seven grandchildren; five brothers, Willie Albert Johnson, Clarence Davis and wife, Nicole, James Davis and wife, Kathy, and Phillip Davis, all of Natchez, and Michael Davis and wife, Anna, of Texas; one sister, Carlene Brown of Natchez; goddaughter, Jamenisha Noble; two aunts Julia Davis and Canary Hardin; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
