Two Natchez men face drug charges

NATCHEZ — Two Natchez men face drug charges after the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group executed a narcotics search warrant early Wednesday morning at 108 Ram Circle, officials said.

Christopher Combs faces charges of possession of marijuana, less than 30 grams, and possession of schedule I Ecstasy within 1,500 feet of a school.

Jeremy Williams, officials said, faces charges of possession of marijuana, more than 250 grams, with intent to distribute, within 1,500 feet of a school; possession of schedule II drug, Hydrocodone, with intent to distribute within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of schedule IV, Xanax, and possession of a stolen firearm.

During the search warrant deputies said they located three ecstasy tablets, less than 30 grams of marijuana, digital scales, 2 bottles of promethazine and $686 in Combs’ possession and his belongings in the living room.

In Williams’ bedroom, agents said they located 35 Xanax bars, 29 Hydrocodone tablets both of which were in unlabeled prescription bottles, digital scales, approximately 12 ounces of high grade marijuana, 5 bottles of Promethazine, a loaded 12 gauge shotgun, a stolen 9 mm pistol, and $1,287.00.

Outside parked in the driveway was a 2006 Nissan Sentra, deputies said, that Williams had been driving and contained approximately 4 ounces of marijuana in the trunk of the car.
