NATCHEZ — Services for Barbara Ann Harris Minor, 63, of Natchez, who died Monday, May 13, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Bishop Stanley Searcy officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and will continue Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Minor was born Jan. 20, 1956, in Fayette, the daughter of Rommie T. Lewis and Ivera Harris Lewis.

She was a graduate of Jefferson County High School and Louisiana Business College.  Barbara was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling, cooking and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Minor; her parents; two brothers, Frank Harris and Tony Lewis; and grandparents, Catherine Carter and Louis Henry Harris.

Survivors include eight sons, Demetryl Harris and wife, Chasity, Charles Ellis, Kevin Ellis and wife, Ashley, Corey Ellis, Cedric Ellis, Antonio Ellis, Jeremy Minor and Jermaine Minor; three daughters, Melanie Ellis, Melinda Ellis and LaToya Minor; grandchildren; sisters; brothers; and other relatives and friends.
