NATCHEZ— Graveside services for Ruth Cain Tyler, 70, of Monterey, who died Saturday, June 8, 2019, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Waylon Gant officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Mrs. Tyler was born Nov. 16, 1948, in Bude, the daughter of Donald Cain and Inez Cain.
She enjoyed fishing and crocheting. Ruth was a wonderful cook. She especially loved spending time with her family and thought the world of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Tyler was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Butch Tyler; two daughters, Stephanie Havard and husband, Johnny, of Lake Concordia, and Leigh Ann Tyler and Chad Richardson of Monterey; four grandchildren, Trey Havard, Kristen Havard, Dylan Cason and Braxton Davis; three great-grandchildren, Tinzlee Havard, Timber Havard and River-Lynn Guillory; one brother, Wayne Cain; one sister, Barbara Dunn; and two best friends, Mary Graves and Donna Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Havard, Trey Havard, Chad Richardson, Braxton Davis, Wayne Cain and Terry Dunn.
