Also on the card is Nightmare Jeremiah of Natchez who will square off against Rob Love of San Antonio.

Josh Newell and Bayou Independent Wrestling are bringing the Take Your Best Shot event to Natchez Community Center, 215 Franklin St. with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the action starting at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Tickets are $10 in advance at Modies Italian Kitchen, or $15 at the door.

Newell was last in Natchez on Feb. 10, with the show and had a packed house.

“We had around 400 people the last time we were here and have had to move to a bigger spot,” Newell said. “That’s why we will be in the Community Center this time, the last time we were in the Natchez room at the Convention Center.”

Newell said he was proud to have Jeremiah on the card.

“Nightmare holds some Mississippi state powerlifting records,” Newell said.

Jeremiah confirmed that he holds six Mississippi state powerlifting records.

“My bench press is now up to 455 pounds, three times,” Jeremiah said.

The main event of Dalton vs. Apocalypse is the big draw, Newell said.

“These two have gone toe to toe all over the South,” Newell said. “The last match ended with Apocalypse winning by disqualification. This will be a grudge match for sure.”

Other matchups on the night are Barrett Brown of Dallas vs. Danny Chance of Laredo, Texas, in a battle for the Lone Star State bragging rights, Newell said.

The ladies will also climb into the ring with a match between Rockelle of Houston and Ali Bama of Alabama.
