NATCHEZ — Graveside funeral services for Inez May Anderson, 82, of Natchez who died Friday, July 12, 2019, at her residence will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Shelton Family Cemetery in Copiah County, Miss., with Rev. Pat Anders officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Anderson was born October 7, 1936, in Natchez, the daughter of John Harvey May and Mildred Windham May.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Scott Anderson, and six brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, Marlis Rogers and husband Fred, Carol Lee and husband Mike, Inette Lee and husband Dannie; eight grandchildren, Darby Watson-Hill, Jerrett Watson and wife DeSha, Jordan LaCharite, Chauncey Lee and Kim, Cameron Lee, Channing Lee, Connor Lee, and Frederick Rogers and wife Jennifer; 15 great-grandchildren, Tristan Hill, Ainslee Watson, Addyson Watson, Tripp Rogers, Mary Wynn Rogers, Brett Lee, Brooke Lee, Parker LaCharite, Alyssia Lee, Blaze Lee, Crews Lee, Dakota Lee, Ember Lee, and Everly Lee.

She is also survived by one sister, Aline Wade; a special sister-in-law Carolyn Cox and husband Jerry, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Jerrett Watson, Chauncey Lee, Cameron Lee, Channing Lee Connor Lee, Frederick Rogers, and Tristan Hill.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers Janice Green, Doris Lewis, Doris Hargrave, Harriett McGee, Compassus Hospice nurses.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Magnolia Speech School, 733 North Flag Chapel Road, Jackson, MS 39209.
