NATCHEZ— Services for Rosia Lee Donaldson Williams, 85, of Natchez, who died on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, in Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Curtis officiating.
Burial will follow at Logans Hill Cemetery in Rodney, under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.  
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 5:30 p.m.
Visitation will continue Saturday from noon until service time at the church.
Mrs. Williams was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Rodney, the daughter of Ellis Donaldson and Luella Rhines Donaldson.
She was a retired domestic worker and was a member of the Greater New Zion Baptist in Rodney where she served with the Mothers’ Auxiliary.
Rosia enjoyed baking, flower arranging and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Williams Sr.; her parents; two brothers, Ellis and August F. Donaldson; and one sister, Elva Hoye.
Survivors include three sons, Kurt Donaldson, Albert Williams and wife, Kathy, all of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Jessie Williams Jr. and wife, Lora, of Natchez; three daughters, Zerline King Green and husband, Walter, and Rosie Williams Fultz and husband, Freddie, all of Natchez, and Debra Hawkins of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, Winston D. Donaldson and wife, Alice, of Natchez; one sister, Ella Winchester of Rodney; a very devoted and loving caregiver, Jerlain King; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
