NATCHEZ — A Natchez man faces charges on three counts of aggravated assault in connection to an Aug. 27 shooting at Seargent S. Prentiss and John R. Junkin drives, police said.
No one was injured in the shooting, said Natchez Police Chief Walter Armstrong, but the victims’ vehicle carrying three occupants was struck.
Seth Parker, 18, was arrested without incident Friday morning, Armstrong said, and charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
“We were able to get him arrested and those are the charges,” Armstrong said.
The Aug. 27 shooting is not related to other shootings that have occurred in recent days in Natchez, Armstrong said.
