Louis and Ruthie Banks of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Ariella Carter to Kristopher Ford, son of Willie Mae Ford and the late Glenn Ford of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Wilkinson County High School in Woodville. She is employed by the Department of Children and Family Services in Jonesville, Louisiana.

She is the granddaughter of the late Ruth Carter of Woodville.

The groom-to-be is a graduaate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez.

He is employed by American Commercial Barge Lines in Mobile, Alabama.

He is the grandson of the late Irma Ford of Natchez.

The wedding will be 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center, 112 Front St., in Vidalia.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
