NATCHEZ— Services for Doris S. Hill, 81, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hill was born Dec. 12, 1937, in Ponotoc, the daughter of Columbus and Inez Barfield Stegall.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John Stegall and Ray Stegall.
Survivors include her husband, John Hill; one daughter, DeMarie Walters; one son, Tommy McDaniel and wife, Theresa; one sister, Minnie Mizell; four grandchildren, Jeremy Walters and wife, Stacy, Heather Strahan, Amelia Roberts and husband, Scotty, and Chris McDaniel and wife, Shelby; and a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends of the Hill family.
