Jan. 23. 1943 – Oct. 2, 2019

NATCHEZ —  Nancy S. Burt, 76, of Natchez passed away from this life on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at her residence.

She was born on Jan. 23, 1943 in Natchez to Mrs. Lilla B. Sanford Sanders and Mr.
Cornelius A. Sanders.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Cornelius and Lilla Sanders, sisters, Rose Marie Gray and Beatrice Barre, and one brother, Edward Cornelius Sanders.

Nancy was known by most that loved her as “Nana”.  She was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother making daily visits to see her great-grandsons.  She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Shannon Nicole DeVrient; granddaughter, Hunter Nycole Knight; two great-grandsons, Brenden Tyler Sharp and Grayson Roper Sharp; and her sister, Linda Coyle all from Natchez.

A memorial service will be at a later date under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
