NATCHEZ— Services for Freddrick Murray Sr., 69, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Murray was born May 20, 1950, in Natchez, the son of John Murray Sr. and Jessie Lee Stanton Murray.

He was educated in the Natchez school system and later attended college.  Freddrick was a retired salesman and plant worker.  He was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the usher board.

Freddrick also had memberships with VFW and the Masons. He enjoyed serving the church, helping family and playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Jacob Murray, Donetti Murray, Katie Reese; and one brother, John Murray Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Murray; four sons, Roddrick Murray and wife, Ramona, Freddrick Murray Jr. and wife, Linda, Chaddrick Smith and Reginald Green and wife, Sherron; two brothers, Richard Murray Sr. and Raymond Murray; three sisters, Claudia Merrick, Ceola Hendricks and Hazel Rice; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
