NATCHEZ — The locals of the Miss-Lou should have something sweet prepared for this evening. When vampires, witches and ghouls start popping up all around the best way to ward them off is with a bit of candy.
The designated times for trick or treating are 4:30 until 8 p.m. in Natchez and 5 to 8 p.m. in Vidalia.
The merchants of Downtown Natchez are also getting into the holiday spirit with their annual “Treat for Little Feet” event, which lasts from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Main and Franklin streets, said Chesney Doyle, spokesperson for the Downtown Merchants Group.
Doyle said a few of the participating merchants include Darby’s Gift Shop, Home Bank, Painted Petal, ArtsNatchez Gallery, Natchez Coffee Company and the Natchez Convention Center among many others.
Walter Tipton, director of the Natchez Convention Center said kids should expect to find a spooky surprise waiting for them at 211 Main Street.
“We will have some witches, goblins and some candy,” Tipton said.
