A wake service for Maxine Johnson Currier, 70, who died Monday Nov. 4, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez.    

Mrs. Currier was born June 29, 1949, in Louisville, the daughter of John Johnson and Floria Leona Ray.

She was preceded in death buy her parents, her husband, Paul Currier, two brothers, Johnnie Johnson and Victor Johnson; and one sister, Pat Hill.

Survivors include three children, Paul Currier Jr. of Natchez, Ashley Currier of Michigan, Rosella Gray of Michigan; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren all of Michigan; two sisters, Brenda Gibbons of South Carolina and Connie Howington of Natchez; one brother, Kimble Johnson; one aunt, Mary Knight of Wakefield, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
