NATCHEZ— Graveside services for Sally C. Young, 83, who died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at her residence, will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Natchez City Cemetery.

Burial will follow under the direction of Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Friday at the Trinity Episcopal Parish House in Natchez.

Mrs. Young was born March 11, 1926, in Houston, the daughter of Lowell Joshua Langdon and Maryland Doré Langdon.

Sally was a gifted artist and a photographer of note, and won a number of awards for her earlier works. She was an avid observer of native bird life and an accomplished artifact hunter. She was a skilled bowler and a dedicated football fan.

Sally was a member of St. Mary Basilica, the Pilgrimage Garden Club and the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.

Loved by many, she was preceded in death by her second son, Jefferson Davis Farish.

Survivors include two children, André Calvert Farish Jr. and Melissa Farish Morrison of Natchez; five grandchildren, Andrew Calvert Farish of New Orleans, Avery Jane Farish of Ocean Springs, George Wheeler Morrison and Lowell Langdon Morrison of Atlanta, and Sally Page Farish Martin of Vidalia.

Memorial donations may be made to the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society, an organization Sally strongly supported.
