NATCHEZ— Services for Riley Lee Clay, 62, of Waller, Texas, who died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, in Texas, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.   
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
There will be no visitation.
Mr. Clay was born Oct. 15, 1957, in Natchez, the son of James Albert Clay and Lydia Woods Clay.
He received his bachelor’s degree and was an engineer with SMI until his retirement.  Riley was a member of the Freedom Riders Association and loved horseback riding, dancing and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenny Clay and Michael Clay.
Survivors includehis wife, Mary Barnes Clay; one son, Riley Lee Clay Jr.; three daughters, Cassey Clay-Fluker and husband, Michael, Tonique Clay-Blanchard and husband, Kenneth, and LaVanya Clay-Nicholson and husband, Ervin; one brother, James Albert Clay and wife, Linda; and two sisters, Monica Clay- Morris and husband, Michael, and Chriscella Clay.
Riley was truly loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
