NATCHEZ– Services for Billie J. Phipps, 88, of Natchez, who died Monday Dec. 9, 2019, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rajesh Behara officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Phipps was born July 19, 1931, in Port Arthur, Texas, the daughter of R.A. Meyers and Verna Lee Yates Meyers.
Mrs. Phipps was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Phipps; her parents; one daughter, Janice Lee Barre; and one great-grandson, Gage Lee Nettles.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Williams and husband, Larry; grandson, Larry Williams Jr. and wife, Sara; great-grandson, Hunter Williams; great- granddaughter, Kaitlyn Williams; grandson, Billy Williams and wife Sarah; great- granddaughter, Alli Williams; great-grandson, Levi Williams;son, Edward Leo Phipps Jr. and wife, Tonya Giamanco Phipps; granddaughter, Chelsea Brooke Phipps; grandson, Casey Dillon Phipps; great-grandson, Hayden Blake Phipps; granddaughter, Cammie Nettles and husband, Christopher; great-grandson, Christopher Nettles Jr.; and grandson, Ayden Nettles.
Pallbearers will be Chris Nettles, Casey Phipps, Larry Williams Jr., Billy Williams and Chris Nettles Jr.
