NATCHEZ — Nolan Owens scored three goals, all in the first half, as the Adams County Christian School Rebels cruised to a 7-0 win over the Brookhaven Academy Cougars on a cold and dreary Tuesday afternoon in an MAIS Division II South, Class 4A game.

Alex Patterson scored the first goal for ACCS and then Owens scored back-to-back goals to give the Rebels a 3-0 lead. Then Landon Nunez and Tripp Cotten got in on the scoring for the home team for a 5-0 advantage. Owens got his hat trick of goals late in the first half for a 6-0 halftime lead.

Early in the second half, Jasin Wesberry scored a goal for ACCS for a 7-0 lead. The game was called after 50 minutes of play due to the mercy rule.
