NATCHEZ— Services for Shirley Jean Miller Jones, 64, of Natchez, who died Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Onyeocha officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Webb/Winfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Jones was born May 24, 1955, in Natchez, the daughter of Dan Green and Margaret Miller Malone.

She was a 1975 graduate of North Natchez High School and was a bus driver at AJFC HeadStart.

She was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church; a member of the choir; and a member of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her family, working with children and helping others.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Naomi Brown; three sisters, Sylvia Anderson, Levera Malone and Gwenester Russell; sister-in-law, Carol Miller; and grandson, Demetrick Jones Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Stanford Jones; one son, Demetrick Jones Sr. and wife, Naomi; two daughters, Tamika Dunmore and Sanquanett Abney and husband, John; three brothers, Jonathan Miller and wife, Cassandra, Earl Malone and wife, Ruthie, and Kadeem Green; two sisters, Cathy Johnson and husband, Luster, and Mary Parker; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; 21 nieces; 15 nephews; three godsons; and a large extended family of in-laws, beloved cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be the 1975 class of North Natchez High School.
