FERRIDAY — Graveside services for Linda Gail Stringer, 77 of Ferriday, who died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, in Bossier City will be 10 a.m. Monday at Old Pine Hill Cemetery at Sicily Island with Bro. John Bodine officiating. Services are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., today at the funeral home.
Linda was born on Saturday, Oct. 31, 1942, in Winnsboro. She was a member of Sevier Memorial Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Owens and Thurla Touchet, and her husband, Larry Donald Stringer.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Stringer, and his wife, Dara, of Bossier City; daughter, Tami Richards of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Joyce Ray, and her husband, David, of West Monroe; three granddaughters, Madelyn Stringer, Emma Stringer and Carolyne Stringer, all of Bossier City; grandson, Christopher Moore of Sedona, Arizona; great-grandaughter, Adalynn Moore, of Cottonwood, Arizona; nephew, Brian Singson, of Pensacola, Florida; and a host of other family members.
