Some 1,569 Entergy customers from Vidalia to Jonesville are without power Monday night after a transmission line went out earlier Monday.

An Entergy spokesperson said Entergy personnel are working to switch transmission lines to isolate the problem so they can repair it.

A timeline for when the repairs might be complete and power restored was not available Monday night but they are working to get the customers’ power back on as soon as possible, the spokesperson said.
