Natchez — Funeral services for Irene Lewis, 65, of Natchez who died Friday, February 7, 2020, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, will be Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 1 p.m. at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. LeRoy White officiating.

Burial will follow at Old Mount Plain Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2020 from 5:0 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. with a “Celebration of Life” wake service at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service at the church.

Miss Lewis was born March 4, 1954 in Natchez, the daughter of A.D. Lewis and Eyvone Lewis.  Irene enjoyed coloring, writing, music, dancing and singing.

She was preceded in death by her father; sisters, Ida Lee Lewis, Gloria Helen Lewis and brother, Carl Lewis.

Survivors include: her mother, brothers, A.D. Lewis, Jr., Otis Lee Lewis and wife Williestine, Thomas Charles Lewis, Damon Derell Lewis and Stanley Earl Lewis; sisters, Greta Mae Pugh, Bobbie Louise Norris and Clementine Lewis and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
