Ferriday — Funeral services for Arlene Heyse Cloyd, 85, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, in Ferriday, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Arlene Heyse Cloyd was born on Monday, Mar. 26, 1934, in Jonesboro. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. Arlene was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for 55 years. She was faithful and a sweet lady that would help anyone. She had a smile that would light up any room she walked into and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Cloyd; parents, Lonnie Miller Heyse and Lizzie Gilbert Heyse; daughter, Cathy Cloyd Gamberi; sister, Vera Swinney; and brother-in-law, Michael Brooks.
Survivors include two sons, David R. Cloyd and his wife Cathy of Westlake, Louisiana, and Bruce A. Cloyd of Hurst, Texas; son in law, Charles Gamberi of Natchez; three grandchildren, David Lee Cloyd and his wife Terri of Westlake, Heather Gibbons and her husband Stephen of New Albany, Indiana, and Adam Gamberi and his wife Michelle of Vidalia; brother, Clayton Heyse and his wife Gloria of Big Sandy, Texas; three sisters, Louise Holloway and her husband Tex of Sulphur, Louisiana, Bobbie Morris and her husband Jimmy of Bullard, Texas, and Pat Brooks of Grandbury, Texas; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.
